TPS Quarterly – A primary sources goldmine

It seems like every time I’m on the the Library of Congress site, they’re adding something new. It’s easy to miss stuff.

So you might not have noticed something called the TPS Quarterly. TPS (for Teaching with Primary Sources) is the title of a great program run by the LOC folks and the Quarterly offers helpful strategies and articles that focus on the effective use of primary source documents.

The current issue explores how teachers can use primary sources to help students develop historical thinking skills. But it’s a breeze to browse through the archive back to the summer of 2008 and explore other issues that deal with:
