New Google Education Resources

Who doesn’t love Google stuff?

It’s free. It’s high quality. It’s practical. Both teachers and students can use it. Did I mention that it’s free? (Need a stronger argument for using Google stuff?)

Recent changes in the Google world have made it even easier for us to access their goodies. There are those who are upset with some of these changes. But I like their idea of consolidating services into single pages.

One of the changes has been to revamp the Google for Educators page. New content has been added and combined into three handy sections – Classroom Tools, Professional Development, and Student Resources. They also created a new Google+ page that encourages the development of an online community

Part of this involved the creation of a handy white paper called A New and Open World for Learning that provides information on how Google and its users are impacting education. Get the full version here.
